This application must be completed in its entirety and returned with payment of $100 to the AQHA not less than 60 days prior to
the date of the show. Judges name must be supplied 21 days prior to the first day of the show..
If your show application is approved you will receive an approval letter from the AQHA.
All Amateur competitors must hold current financial Amateur and or Select (if applicable) status with the AQHA to compete in
Amateur/Select Amateur classes.
Show Result Forms, Judges Evaluation Forms and Incident reports must be returned to AQHA in such time that they will be
postmarked no later than 14 days after the closing day of the show.

Please make sure that your Rules and Regulations contain the Competitors Code of conduct, the Youth in
attendance policy and the Alcohol Policy and the following 2 statements also:
1. At all AQHA approved shows, on each day of the show, 1 hour prior to the commencement of the show and
1 hour after the cessation of the show, there will be no training equipment allowed in the immediate
marshalling area and the performance arena and dress regulations of Cap/Hat, long western style pants,
safe enclosed footwear and a shirt with sleeves must be worn.
2. Exhibitors shall not approach the judge for any reason prior to completion of the judging, unless the exhibitor
has finished exhibiting and the request must be made through the Ring Steward.
No exhibitor will request information from the Judge, or the decisions made by that Judge, concerning any
exhibit at a show, on the day of the show or within the immediate 7 days following the show.
To gain “AA” approval a minimum of $1000 prize money is required. This prize money is to be paid out and split
between at least five of the Open mandatory classes excluding Cutting, Youth and Amateur/Select Classes.

RESULTS OF THE SHOW: Must be received by the AQHA Office no later than 14 days after the completion of
the show and MUST be accompanied by a list of all quarter horses that competed in your show. NB: A
minimum of 24 registered quarter horses must be entered and exhibited in approved classes to have the
results recognised.
NB: Walk and Jog classes can be held at an “AA” if the show is held over more than 2 days.
