ECT’s Second Season Staged Readings.
Elkhart Civic Theatre’s Second Stage staged readings series gives our audiences and actors an opportunity to experience
newer, more challenging or controversial works that might or might not become part of our mainstage season. Plays are
presented in a “readers theatre” setting with no set or costuming. But surprisingly, this form of theatre can be quite
effective, moving and fun. Our audiences have steadily grown for these shows, and now for the first time we’re offering
a season ticket package. Six staged readings for the price of five! Here are the titles and dates for our upcoming season
of staged readings.
Come Back, Little Sheba – October 11, 2016
Doubt: A Parable – December 13, 2016
Collected Stories – February 14, 2017
The Book of Liz – April 11, 2017
The Miss Firecracker Contest – June 13, 2017
Yankee Tavern – August 8, 2017
Include Second Stage staged readings in your theatre plans for next season!
NOTE: Staged Readings are performed at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Elkhart, and do not require you to
reserve a specific seat.
