WHO ARE WE & WHAT WE DO The GBRG was founded in 1993. By 2014 the group had recorded 159 buildings in Gloucestershire, and around 64 buildings in the county have been precisely dated through tree‐ring dating. MEMBERSHIP FORM Three main aims of the GBRG are: •

To be active in the recording of buildings. To encourage the publication of research on buildings. To act as a hub for information on building archaeology. The GBRG usually has some guest lecturers each year. More frequent recording fieldwork and practical workshops are held in different places of interest around the county. Membership of the GBRG costs just £14 per year, (or just £12 per year if paid by standing order).
